Welcome to your August update!

True community doesn't just happen; it’s built, nurtured, and celebrated.

The 2026 Excellence Awards nominations are in the process of being reviewed by the assessment panel and shortlisted projects will be contacted over the next week.  All the Winners will be revealed at the Hootenanny on the evening of Thursday 1st October - the Global Intergenerational Congress' final celebration - bringing together attendees for an unforgettable evening of recognition, storytelling, and ceilidh dancing! Don't miss out, Book your place for the Hootenanny now!

Book your delegate place - We are now only 2 months away from the Global Intergenerational Congress in Glasgow. (29th Sept to 1st Oct 2026) and we are busily working on the many elements that will make up the 3 packed Congress days!  We have now launched Edition 3 of the Congress Programme and Synopsis, providing the latest updates on the daily Agendas and details on all the available sessions.

We will be using the Whova app to manage the event - with the app delegates will select their preferred workshops and receive up to the minute details on all that is going on throughout the Congress.

BOOK YOUR DELEGATE PACKAGE NOW

We have arranged discounts for local hotel accommodation - check out the details on the Congress webpage.
