Networks

GWT facilitate 16 local across Scotland covering all corners from the Islands and Highlands to the southern areas of the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. In addition GWT also host four thematic networks covering topics including: Ageism, Research, Education and Intergenerational housing, Places and Spaces.

Each network meets twice a each year. The networks are a member-only benefit and provide access to: Discounted rates for intergenerational training, events and conference Fortnightly e-newsletters with details of case studies, funding and resources Database of projects by type and location Opportunities for networking at local meetings and events Guidance on funding for local project activity and development.

Who can join?

• Local educational institutions (nurseries, play groups, schools, colleges, universities, community education)
• Voluntary and community organisations
• Public sector organisations, local authorities, health boards, police, fire and rescue
• Older people’s groups and organisations (care homes, day centres, sheltered housing etc.)
• Younger people’s organisations (youth groups, uniformed groups etc.)
• Sports groups, local faith communities and other related organisations
• Individuals of any age with an interest in intergenerational working can join too!
